| VHR 3x1 X-Ray Camera | Protein crystallography, WAX and GiSAX | ||
| The VHR 3x1 X-ray Camera is a very high resolution large area imaging system incorporating the very latest in image enhancement techniques and scintillator technology. The camera makes use of three state-of-the-art 11 Mega-pixel sensors to form a full 33 Mega-pixel array. Images from the 3 sensors are accurately combined in software to give a seamlessly stitched image at the user interface with the option of further processing such as bright pixel subtraction, auto flat field and offset correction. | |||
| X-Ray Imager VHR | WAX · Inspection · Microscopy | ![]() |
|
| The X-Ray Imager VHR is a very high-resolution (4008x2672 pixel) X-ray digital camera with direct coupled (micro) fibre-optic input and deeply cooled CCD. The camera features a high Quantum Efficiency (typically 45% @ 550nm), cooled CCD sensor with typical DT of > 35°C, a range of input taper sizes, fast 20Mhz readout speed, on-chip pixel binning, sub-area readout and up to 4008 x 2672 pixel resolution at up to 12-bit digitisation (fast readout) or up to 16-bit digitisation with Fusion driver. | |||

XDI — X-Ray Digital Imager | NDT · WAX · Inspection · Microscopy | ![]() |
The XDI is a high resolution, medium/high speed digital X-ray camera incorporating a 1392x1040 pixel interline CCD. The camera offers a fast 20MHz readout rate (with 10-bit image digitisation) for higher frame rate applications. Alternatively with a simple change to software driver settings the XDI can integrate an image on its cooled CCD for up to several minutes giving 12-bit image digitisation. When high-performance digital imaging and operational flexibility are required, the XDI provides an ideal solution for all small to medium area input applications. |

Laue X-Ray System | Laue · Neutron imaging
High resolution Laue X-ray imaging system — the dual camera system allows a digital backscattered Laue diffraction pattern to be recorded, with a resolution of 2080x1392 pixels and 12-bit digitisation at 10MHz. The X-ray beam passes through the camera in a straight lead lined tube of 16mm diameter, to protect the camera system from scattered X-rays. The image areas allow some overlap to permit image stitching and provide a single continuous image with an input dimension of 156mm x 104.4mm. The system is supplied in a unified housing with mounting plate. The x-ray scintillator screen is GdOS:Tb 0.1mm thick with a peak emission at 550nm to match peak QE response of the CCD. Other scintillators are available to order. The input scintillator is covered by a thin aluminium light exclusion window. The camera features a variety of functions such as binning, sub area readout and 16 bit acquisition mode, which apply to the single combined image. |

| Intensified high sensitivity X-ray camera with video rate output. The LA series (Large Area up to 150mm input 40mm intensifier) is ideal for dynamic applications requiring large input areas that need high sensitivity. The HR series (High Resolution 18mm intensifier) offers high resolution for dynamic imaging of smaller fields of view. | |||

X-Ray Eye | Beam Alignment X-Ray Imaging Systems
| The X-Ray Eye is a simple high efficiency x-ray sensitive video camera for alignment and set up purposes. It can handle direct beams from 2kW tubes, yet still has enough sensitivity to locate such beams after eight reflections from silicon 004 with CuKa radiation. The real time 2D display of the beam, allowing its profile and position to be clearly seen on an ordinary video monitor, make optimizing set-up and experimental parameters easy. An automatic gain control (AGC) optimizes the appearance of the image on the monitor screen. | |||
