	Photonic Sciences’ range of microchannel plate imaging detectors are complete integrated assemblies comprising one or more microchannel electron multiplier plates and a phosphor screen on an optical window, along with the necessary electrical connections. 18mm, 25mm and 40mm devices are supplied as standard with intermediate and larger sizes available to order. Devices incorporating a single microchannel plate offer substantial electron gain (up to 10 000). High gain devices featuring two channel plates (chevron configuration) or super high gain devices with three plates (Z configuration) are offered. Resolutions in excess of 30 lp/mm are typical with the single channel plate devices and somewhat less (depending upon size) for multiple plate devices.
